New Zealand: Lake Taupo

Lake Taupo is a lake in the North Island of New Zealand. It is in the caldera of the Taupo Volcano. With a surface area of 616 square kilometres (238 sq mi), it is the largest lake by surface area in New Zealand, and the second largest freshwater lake by surface area in geopolitical Oceania after Lake Murray in Papua New Guinea.

New Zealand: Milford Sound

Milford Sound / Piopiotahi is a fiord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park, Piopiotahi Marine Reserve, and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site.

New Zealand: Whakarewarewa, Rotorua

Whakarewarewa  is a geothermal area within Rotorua city in the Taupo Volcanic Zone of New Zealand. This was the site of the Māori fortress of Te Puia, first occupied around 1325, and known as an impenetrable stronghold never taken in battle. Māori have lived here ever since, taking full advantage of the geothermal activity in the valley for heating and cooking. Whakarewarewa has some 500 pools, most of which are alkaline chloride hot springs, and at least 65 geyser vents, each with their own name. Seven geysers are currently active. Pohutu Geyser, meaning big splash or explosion, erupts approximately hourly to heights of up to 30 m.

New Zealand: Sky Tower, Auckland

The Sky Tower is an observation and telecommunications tower located at the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets in the Auckland CBD, Auckland City, New Zealand. It is 328 metres (1,076 ft) tall, as measured from ground level to the top of the mast, making it the tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere. It has become an iconic landmark in Auckland's skyline due to its height and unique design.

New Zealand: QueensTown

Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shore of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. The surrounding Central Otago region is known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards, and for adventure sports. In winter, there's backcountry skiing and the country’s highest vertical drops. Summer brings paragliding, mountain biking and bungee-jumping (Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge is among the sport's original sites).

New Zealand: Mt Taranaki

Mount Taranaki, or Mount Egmont, is an active but quiescent strato volcano in the Taranaki region on the west coast of New Zealand's North Island. The 2518-metre-high mountain is one of the most symmetrical volcanic cones in the world. There is a secondary cone, Fanthams Peak (Māori: Panitahi), 1,966 metres (6,450 ft), on the south side.

New Zealand is an island country in the south western Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses – that of the North Island, or Te Ika-a-Māui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu– and numerous smaller islands. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington, while its most populous city is Auckland.

New Zealand: The Beehive, Wellington

The Beehive is the common name for the Executive Wing of the New Zealand Parliament Buildings, located at the corner of Molesworth Street and Lambton Quay, Wellington. It is so-called because of its shape is reminiscent of that of a traditional woven form of beehive known as a "skep". It is registered as a Category I heritage building by Heritage New Zealand.

NewZealand: Mt Ngauruhoe

Shown on the postcard is Mt Ngauruhoe, (2289 meters) Which is a active Volcano in Tongariro National Park. This is the place where Lord of the Rings Move was shot.

NewZealand: Milford Sound

Milford Sound is a Fjord in the south west of NewZealand's south Island within Fiordland National Park Piopiotai ( Milford Sound) Marine Reserve and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Site. It is New Zealand's most famous tourist destination and has been judged worlds top travel destination. Shown on the postcard is the Mitre Peak.
