Belgium: Tyne Cot Cemetry

Tyne Cot Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery and Memorial to the Missing is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) burial ground for the dead of World War I in the Ypres Salient on the Western Front. It is the largest cemetery for Commonwealth forces in the world, for any war. The cemetery and its surrounding memorial are located outside Passendale, near Zonnebeke in Belgium.

Belgium: St Nicolo's Church and St Bavo's Church, Ghent

St. Nicholas Church is a Roman Catholic church, as well as one of the oldest and most prominent landmarks in Ghent, Belgium. Begun in the early 13th century as a replacement for an earlier Romanesque church, construction continued through the rest of the century in the local Scheldt Gothic style (named after the nearby river). Typical of this style is the use of blue-gray stone from the Tournai area, the single large tower above the crossing, and the slender turrets at the building's corners.

Saint Bavo's Cathedral, also known as Sint-Baafs Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Ghent, Belgium. The 89-metre-tall Gothic building is the seat of the Diocese of Ghent and is named for Saint Bavo of Ghent. It contains the well-known Ghent Altarpiece, also called the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb.

Belgium: Brugge

Brugge is the largest city and the capital of West Flanders of Belgium. It is sometimes referred to as " Venice of the North". It is also a UNESCO Heritage city.

On the right is Belgian definitive showing King Philippe. No idea from which country it was posted. But arrived in one piece.

Belgium: St Rumbold's Cathedral, Mechelen

Mechelen  is a city and municipality in the province of Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium. St. Rumbold's Cathedral is the Belgian metropolitan archiepiscopal cathedral in Mechelen, dedicated to Saint Rumbold, Christian missionary and martyr who had founded an abbey nearby.

Thanks to Mr Javier of Spain who was visiting Belgium. Javier has used Belgium International postage definitive, showing Belgian king, Philippe. He ascended the throne in 2013. He is the eldest son of King Albert II and queen Paola.

Ramsel is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp and a borough of Herselt.

Belgium: Lighthouse on Belgian Coast.

The Belgian Coast or Coastal Region is the region with which Belgium (and in particular the Flemish part of Belgium), bordering the North Sea. The length is about 67 kilometers and includes up to 500 meters wide, sandy beach with up to 2.5 km wide dunes behind it.

Belgium: Hot air Balloon Festival, Saint Niklaas.

Hot air balloon festivals are held annually in many places throughout the year, allowing hot air balloons operators to gather- as well as for the general public- to participate in various activities. They can include races; evening "night glows", in which balloons are fired while remaining tethered to the ground; and rides.

Belgium: Carnival of Binche

The carnival of Binche is an event that takes place each year in the Belgian town of Binche during the Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday preceding Ash Wednesday. The centre piece of the carnival's proceedings are clown-like performers known as Gilles. Appearing, for the most part, on Shrove Tuesday, the Gilles are characterized by their vibrant dress, wax masks and wooden footwear. They number up to 1,000 at any given time, range in age from 3 to 60 years old, and are customarily male. The carnival is the best known of several that take place in Belgium at the same time and has been proclaimed as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity listed by UNESCO.

Belgium: Atomium

The Atomium is a building in Brussels originally constructed for Expo 58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, it stands 102 m (335 ft) tall. Its nine 18 m (59 ft) diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.
