Ukraine: Lubart's Castle

Lutsk Castle, also locally known as Lubart's Castle orUpper Castle, began its life in the mid-14th century as the fortified seat of Gediminas' son Liubartas(Lubart), the last ruler of united Galicia-Volhynia. It is the most prominent landmark of Lutsk, Ukraine and as such appears on the 200 hryvnia bill.

Ukraine: Pechersk Lavra, Kiev

Kiev Pechersk Lavra also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves, is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery which gave its name to one of the city districts where it is located in Kiev. Since its foundation as the cave monastery in 1051 the Lavra has been a preeminent center of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe. Together with the Saint Sophia Cathedral, it is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ukraine: Rivne

Rivne is a historic city in western Ukraine and the historical region of Volhynia.  During the German occupation in 1941–44 the city was designated as a capital of the German Ukraine. The card shows Rivne Theatre.

Ukraine: St Andrews Church

The Saint Andrew's Church is a major Baroque church located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. The church was constructed in 1747–1754, to a design by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. It is featured in UNESCO tentative list.

Ukraine: Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatians Metropolitans

The Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatian Metropolitans represents a masterful synergy of architectural styles built by Czech architect Josef Hlavka from 1864 to 1882. The property, an outstanding example of 19th-century historicist architecture, also includes a seminary and monastery and is dominated by the domed, cruciform Seminary Church with a garden and park. The complex expresses architectural and cultural influences from the Byzantine period onward and embodies the powerful presence of the Orthodox Church during Habsburg rule, reflecting the Austro-Hungarian Empire policy of religious tolerance.

Ukraine: Kiev Independence Square

Maidan Nezalezhnosti, (Independence Square) is the central square of Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine. One of the city's main squares, it is located on Khreshchatyk Street in the Shevchenko Raion.
