Faroe Islands: Traditional House

The Faroe Islands is a self-governing archipelago, part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It comprises 18 rocky, volcanic islands between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean, connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. Hikers and bird-watchers are drawn to the islands’ mountains, valleys and grassy heathland, and steep coastal cliffs that harbor thousands of seabirds.

Thanks to Ms Hans of Denmark. She has used a matching SEPAC stamp from 2019 showing old traditional house. The Small European Postal Administration Cooperation SEPAC is an association of 14 European postal authorities: Ă…land, the Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City. This is my first postcard from these Islands. Once again big thanks to Ms Hans.
