The card shows Dochula chorten(stupas) or Druk Wangyal Chorten which was constructed in 2004 by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck to commemorate the Bhutan’s victory over Indian Terrorist. This was built to liberate the souls of the dead.
This is a surprise card from my Uncle who was visiting Bhutan. He has used a personalised stamp of himself along with his wife and posted it from Thimpu, capital of Bhutan.
